Susan Kadis has worked for the Behavioral Health Administration Office of Consumer Affairs for many years. With a direct knowledge and history of the consumer movement and the development of Wellness and Recovery Centers, Susan is effective and beneficial as board president.

Executive Director: Helping Other People Through Empowerment, Inc.
Mr. Hicks has worked as the Executive Director for HOPE for over 10years. Thomas personal knowledge of recovery and perseverance of consumers has been a tremendous asset as a board member of On Our Own, Inc.

Anthony Hall is a graduate of the Shapiro Training and Employment Program (STEP). As a former employee of People Encouraging People, Anthony Hall works well with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, accountant and auditors to ensure the financial stability of On Our Own, Inc. as Board of Directors Treasurer.

Gloria Garrett s a self-taught artist who uses cosmetics to create the most vibrant, bold, brilliant, and beautiful collage paintings. Gloria creates artwork for everyday people and collectors. Gloria has been collaborating with On Our Own, Inc. for over 15 years and is truly dedicated to the success and growth of the organization.

Andy Goldenson
Andy Goldenson is a Co-Owner of Instrument of Healings Inc. a nonprofit with the mission of creating musical experiences that promote wellness and inspire, motivate, and educate our peers in their recovery from mental health and substance use challenges. Andy volunteers his time on the board to further expand his creative abilities.
